Lyndsay Butler, a seventh-generation Albertan, is deeply connected to the Canadian western way of life, which she reflects through her music and style. Known for her traditional, outlaw, and southern rock songs, her voice has been compared to Patsy Cline and Miranda Lambert, with lyrics reminiscent of early Loretta Lynn. Her latest singles, “Stalker Song” and “Back Where You Belong,” co-produced with Aaron Young, are part of her upcoming debut album, Prairie Rose. Earlier in 2021, she released “Prairie Settler Song,” a tribute to her family’s history in Alberta, which gained significant attention on digital platforms. Butler’s career includes accolades such as winning the Global Country Star Search (2014) and Calgary Stampede Nashville North Star (2013). When not performing, she enjoys life in rural Alberta, surrounded by agriculture, her dogs, and teaching vocal lessons.
